The month of February is always an important time for condo buyers and sellers in the tricounty South Florida region of Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach.
It’s not because we rely on the predictions of a Pennsylvania groundhog, which forecasts the weather by seeing its shadow in a folksy event held annually.
Instead, February represents the halfway mark for the crucial South Florida Winter Buying Season (WBS) that extends from November through April when visitors - many of whom are prospective condo buyers whether they know it or not - descend on the region for the superb weather, numerous events and party-like vibe.
Usually at about this time, buyers and sellers are encouraged to reassess their condo market outlooks and strategies to reflect on everything they have been seeing, hearing and experiencing from the the first 90 days of the season.
This reassessment often prompts buyers and sellers to recalibrate their strategies, aiming to achieve their condo objectives before the season comes to a close in three months.
